In 2006, Gian Gabrielle Foschini abandoned his wife and child and fled the United States to Italy amidst a divorce trial that was not leaning in favor of the plaintiff, himself.
Leaving his infant son to grow up in a broken household with an emotionally strained mother torn between caring for her son, managing multiple Business' that were being undermined by Giangi himself.
After manipulating his in-law's to sign over multiple mullion dollar accounts through persuasion techniques such as claiming their daughter was severely mentally unstable and needed careful treatment that cost a small fortune, all the while not allowing them any contact with her to validate his story.
When there was no more money to embezzle, manipulate or steal, no more parties to throw for his friends and girlfriends at the restaurant my grandparents funded with his lies, he moved in with one of many girlfriends and filed for divorce demanding many of the properties he’d purchased with the embezzled money.
Foschini’s in-laws intervened in the divorce to recover properties bought with their money so as not to be left on the street. They were 80+ years old and now long retired and penniless.
Giangi dragged out the court hearings, kept firing and hiring attorneys every two or theee months while promising to sign over the property deeds to the grandparents at every hearing. Instead he filed bankruptcy, dragging the court hearings out for months and forcing more attorneys into the scenario. The judge ordered Foschini to sign the property deeds over to his in-laws and to turn over ALL documents, files, paperwork, pictures, etc., to the attorneys at multiple court hearings. He promised to do so every hearing but never did. The judge found Foschini in Contempt Of Court and ordered him to serve time in jail in Comal County.
During depositions by his in-law’s attorney, Amber Liddell-Alwais, Foschini was asked, on page 142 of the first 2 day , videotaped and transcribed deposition: “You knew you were taking money from your Father-in-law every week by lying to him and using it for your own purposes, Mr Foschini, why?”
Foschini’s answer: “ Because I could!” he said with a smirk. The baby’s grandparents were seated in front of Foschini as he arrogantly admitted his deceit.
Why all the hatred towards the family that sponsored him entry to the United States, the abandonment of his only child??
